These funds are needed to cover the cost of rescuing Boxers from death row, and provide a safe and healthy environment for their rehabilitation. Our medical and support expenses for last year (2009) approached $20,000. The majority of those dogs rescued are not spayed or neutered and most of them require shots, medication and micro-chips.

Last year, we placed over 100 Boxers in wonderful loving homes. But with our expenses approaching $20,000, what did it cost for each rescue? Well, if we do the math, it averages $200 for every Boxer rescued. But we only charge an adoption fee of $150.00, and sometimes less for a Boxer mix or an elderly Boxer. So, how do we make ends meet and make up the shortage of $5,000? Well, sometimes it comes out of our own pockets, or from family and friends, but mostly we rely on you to make donations throughout the year.

We can promise you that your donation will be spent wisely and will go to dogs that have a chance to lead happy healthy lives. We purchase our micro-chips directly from the manufacturer and a trained Rescue volunteer implants the micro-chip, we also buy discounted leashes, collars and crates whenever possible.

We can only do this with your help.

Please give what you can to help save our Boxer friends.
